Free Commander - is an easy-to-use alternative to the standard windows file manager with lots of advanced and helpful features.

GIMP - is the popular image editor.

KeePass - is the popular KeePass Password Safe. - is the complete office suite including a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation tool, drawing package and database.

PuTTY - is the popular telnet and SSH client.

winMd5Sum - is a simple MD5 sum checker that allows you to check and compare the md5 sums of files.

WinSCP - is an open source free SFTP client and FTP client for Windows.

TOOLS for better browsing

Resurrect Pages - Searches through five big page cache/mirrors and shows lost pages.
